Default New Wheels & Seat Covers (Busy Week)

I've been busy lately.
I picked up a set of 18x9 Mille Miglia Evo wheels, (Made in Italy), with 245/40/18 Yokohama ES100 tires all around.

The back tires are a little small to me, but these wheels may end up on my 63 Nova, eventually, anyway.

The car is sitting way high, because it hasn't moved since being jacked up.

I also finally installed new seat covers and new foam on my standard seats.
The covers are from Mid America Motorworks and are black leather with red accent stitching.
The foam is from Ecklers.
I covered the bottoms myself, but the seat backs were too intimidating for me. So, I took them to a local upholsterer, "Kent's Auto Upholstery" in Beechgrove, IN. (Kent did both seat backs for only $90.)

They are soooo comfortable. It feel like a different car, now.

Installed.

Those are some skinny tires! I've got wider ones on my bagged truck. LOL. Seats look fantastic!

Nice work John but it's not going to make your Vette any faster.

OK...time for my "stupid question of the month"...Why is that vette still "sitting high" after being taken off the jackstands??? I'd think as with any car it's weight would settle it out.

astepup said that

You need to drive it some to get the suspension to settle.

Default Suspension Settled

It looks better with the car settled down.
It drives nice with them.

Nice seats and good looking wheels. tires are too small, you need a bigger sidewall.

Very nice, the wheels seem to suit the car just right, I like the newly covered seats too!

Great job!

for your car with 18 inch wheels, tire rack is calling for 255/40/18 front and 285/35/18 rear

New foam in seat bottoms and backs. Feels totally different than the originals. (So nice)

The tires came on the rims when I bought them, (used). I'll probably wind up putting these wheels & tires on my 63 Nova.

I have in my garage, a set of C5 "Thin-Spokes" and C6 "5-Spoke" wheels.(both silver, OEM) No tires on either set, but that's what tax returns are for.

I'm leaning towards the C6, (18/19).
