Well...you know about mine...but since you ask...

Having an EROD LS3 & 4L70e swapped into an '87 as we speak.

Just a couple of pics, link to build thread at end:

Anxiously waiting for the builder to fill this hole:

I was hoping this could turn into a thread where we could discuss and discover our builds and answer questions.

15,000 miles on my LS3/4L70e combo. Driven daily. Best thing I've ever done to a car.

I have about 17,000 miles on my LS3 Hot Cam (GMPP LS376/480 Hot Cam). There is a thread in the Perf and Tech C4 section entitle "LT1 conversion to LS3 Hot Cam", or you can google "C4orce2" and look for the photobucket. The thread has some pics and discussion about the build. The photobucket has an album with around 30 pics of the build.
Here's the thread mentioned above:

I'm doing a VVT L99 & T56 into a '92. I'm putting in scat rods and inv dome Mahle -12cc pistons, eyeing a magnuson in the future. Some things I've found

The speed hound sbc-ls conv mounts seem to give me a slight setback in the LT1 frame mounts, it doesn't look like a major problem and the VVT likes it since it sticks out 1.5" from vette FEAD.

The C6 air intake works great in the C4 and K&N makes a hiflo filter for it. The speed density TPI camaro intake bellows flipped around mate to the intake and TB. The integrated MAF card slot was the coup-de-GRAS

Using the C6 FEAD spaced 1.5" setup with a 2010 camaro LS3 water pump to clear the VVT. The A/C will wait until the cars running. Getting a 2010 camaro starter also and wiring it in. Inexpensive and the revised 2-long bolt design.

HPtuners on a E38 ECM for the VVT support will handle the engine and I'm adapting the '07 escalade harness from the L92 engine to wire everything.

Still collecting parts and waiting on the back ordered pistons to finish the long block.

Getting the '07 monte DBW pedal, have an LS3 takeoff intake, LS3 vette oil pan, TSP VVT2 cam, Melrose swap headers, and loads more..

I purchased an ls6 with 31,000 miles and transported it into an 1985 manual car using an level 3 performabuilt 4l60e. Mine does not have any "creature comforts" though. Just a driver. Might play around at autocross or a strip for fun at some point.

Why was the fuel line run all the way around the motor? The fuel rails can just be flipped?

Wow, where do I start...

Ch@0s: Great thread & love that link list.

Agent13: Looks great. I'll have to find some of those Corvette covers, the EROD doesn't come with anything equivalent.

85MikeTPI: Flipping the fuel rails should work---saw that in an old 2003 vintage swap thread---& we're planning on doing that on mine. I wonder if it will interfere with the nifty Corvette covers?

Any of you looking for cruise control? I just bought a drive by wire compatible cruise module from http://spankysrodshop.net/

Maybe we need a hybrids/engine swap section, eh?

I did that so I could install the LS3 covers and factory fuel hose to the rail. The Schrader valve is difficult to access when the fuel rail is reversed.

Unfortunately that is an older picture. I need to take an updated picture with the A/C hoses installed.

Great thread, will be studying those links. My LT1 is out, shopping for the LS to put in. Who has a lead on one for me?

I'll be keeping the ZF6 trans.

wow !! c4+ls3 ? I don't need anything else

I was planning for ls swap , but since my engine is making good power and give good results racing new cars I forgot about the swap, until the lt1 dies. Then there will be a future plan. Hopefully something like this pic

how much did you pay for the whole project ?

Beautiful! That looks like a lot of work just to get rid of the C4's exhaust drone!
No, really...did it?
