I have a 1988 C4 Convertible with the 6 way power sport seats with inflatable lumbar support for driver and passenger side. I want to replace them with seats that have a flat seating area and back instead of the wrap around design the sport seats have. I have looked at and measured my friend's C5 seats and they are the same width so I have a better idea which seats I may be able to use. I thought about keeping my frames and mounting different seats on them if that's possible. Can anyone give me any insights into issues I may run into swapping for any kind of seat? This is a daily driver for me so I want something that's comfortable and makes it a little easier for my wife and I to get in and out of the car than the sport seats.
