1995 Corvette Wagner Plastic Headlight Lamps
This may sound like a silly request, but does any know where I can get Wagner headlight lamps (part no. HP6054). New or very good used ones.
Any help will be appreciated.

I think the plastic ones are no longer available. I bet those looking for a NCRS grade would kill for a set. Bummer, when I did my rebuilt I threw the set on the 96 away for HID and they worked OK.

Heading out, have to go and work on my convertible Eldorado (filler replacement). Getting it ready for the AACA Winter National Meet in Melbourne, Florida.

I kept my originals when i swapped out to the Silver stars, they are pretty yellowed though.

Not a silly request. I’ve always used them on my 95. I actually do a lot of night driving but most of it is done in fairly well lit areas or on highways and so the light output has been sufficient for my needs.
The last time one of them went out and I bought a pair was two years ago. The jobber that I ordered them from said that they were the supposedly the last two on the west coast that he was able to locate. At that time (if I remember correctly) there was a CF forum member in the Florida area that had a stash of them but he wanted like $100.00 each. I have only one more left and when they go I guess I’ll have to upgrade the gears and get the heavier glass units.
If they are worth that price to you, you might try posting in the parts wanted section and also in the southeast regional sections of the forum. I’m not interested in selling my one spare unit.

I'll take a pic and post it if you're interested, but it will be later this evening or in the morning before I can get to it.

The yellowing can be removed with Autosol Metal Polish. Just rub that sucker on and presto, you have a clear lens again. E-mail me a pic of the better one.

Thanks for the feedback. I post on the part section, but I did not hear from any member with a stash. If you change your mind about your spare, let me know. I'll make it worth your consideration (lol).

Sorry for the late reply, weather's been nasty here today.
I didn't remember this from before, but there are some (3-4) spots on the front of the lens that looks like a plastic coating is delaminating. I didn't include a shot of the yellowed one 'cause I figured you already knew what it looked like....

We are having difficulty finding any other distributors with any left in stock on this plastic lens. Apparently they still widely used on plow trucks in Canada. Maybe check plow equipment retailers there?

I found new ones at Rock Auto about a year ago. I bought a pair for future use but they had a few more if I remember correctly. They're probably gone now but it might be worth a try.

Last summer, I purchased a couple of those plastic lense, HP6054 Wagners at NAPA in Paintsville, Ky. I can't remember (senior moment)
whether or not I ordered them or if they were already in stock. However, I order the majority of my parts from Corvette Central .

Plastic headlights can easily be restored using Bright Solutions headlight restoration kit. As long as the light isn't cracked, or yellowed on the inside it'll make them like new.
