Please exlpain what the Auto fan buton does, and if I hit the curculate buton does my a/c kick-in?

I dont have an answer to your question, but how do you turn on just the vent on the automatic system?

The Auto Fan button works somewhat like the forced-air heater in your home. Set a temp and press the Auto Fan button. The fan speed will change up or down in order to maintain the temp.

The "Circulate" button (the one with the car and the curved arrow) is the Max Air button. That will provide the quickest cool down by circulating the air inside the car and not take in the hot outside air.

LSCHMIDT-- the Vent button is the one with the arrow pointed at the head of the figure. That allows air to enter the vehicle. You can set any temp on the display, but it won't get colder thatn the outside temp. You can alos use the Auto Fan button.
