1984 crossfire NEED HELP PLEASE!
I have a 1984 corvette crossfire
My current problem is with the crossfire setup. Previously I was facing no-start issues due to clogged fuel injectors.. I have changed my fuel injectors and now I am not getting fuel to my injectors or through the fuel meter setup. in order to get the car to start I have to use starter fluid. I know my fuel pump works and so on, I just can't seem to get fuel to come out of my injectors. This is my first corvette i have owned and I realize that maybe I should have avoided the Crossfire year corvettes. someone please help and make me feel less of an idiot!!

First there is nothing wrong with a properly maintained crossfire.. You say that the fuel pump is working, but are you getting fuel to the injectors, are they firing properly?? How new is the fuel filter, do you have any error codes??

Don't bag on the Crossfire, it is a very stable platform.
If you have too little fuel pressure, those injectors will not fire.....
Have you hooked a pressure gauge up to the line to check that part first??

fuel issue
I had a similar issue with my 84 and what I found was the small piece of rubber line connecting the pump to the rest of the in tank assembly tubing had a small split in it. The pump was pumping fuel through the split right back into the tank. It was hard to see. Once replaced it ran as it should. I replaced the filter sock at the same time just as general maintenance. Before doing any of this I removed and checked the filter in the line behind the pass. side front wheel. Good luck...........

Drive by post....OP disappeared^^^But, back on topic and going off of your split tube issue...ultimately the result was low fuel pressure do to the pump pressure being relieved back into the tank....
OP, if you ever come back, Check the fuel pressure
