ARGH!!!!! "Can't order those tires"
I called a local Kumho tire "dealer" to ask about the Kumho MXs and Supra 712's, the goober told me that they do not carry those and he cannot even order them? Does this sound right? He told me to look on Tirerack.com, but i can't even locate the Kumho MXs on tirerack!!! HELP!!

Re: ARGH!!!!! "Can't order those tires" (GRNVNM93)
And to add to the orignal post. Would anybody suggest Kumho MX over the Supra 712s? If i go with the MX's, i'll get 255/45/17 up front, 285/40/17's in the back. If i go with the ECSTA Supra 712's, i'll be getting 275/40/17s on all four corners. thanks!

Ive got Nitto 550's coming in today or tomorrow, if ya want I'll let ya know how they are. They are supposed to be a serious performance tire, yet still have a 300 rating and a reasonable price compared to the Goodyear Eagle GSC's. Cost me $724.01 for all four tires (255's front, 285's back) with shipping and taxes. I liked the tread pattern too, but we'll see when they come in.

Just got the Nittos about an hour ago! They look COOL AS SH#t. Very nice looking tires. I love the tread pattern. These bad boys are gonna look good.
Yeah, 530ish, but dont forget tax, shipping and handling, etc. It sounds like its cheap till you add up all the goodies. :)

Re: ARGH!!!!! "Can't order those tires" (GRNVNM93)
Just to let ya know, I put the Nitto Extreme 555 racing tires on today...
all i can say is "sweeet"
My car looks bad behind now... I had them put the weights on the inside of the rims also so they dont show. There were some marks where the old ones on the outside were but I think it will come off with some polish and cleaning. Looks much better. I dont think you will be disappointed. Oh yeah, it cost me a $100 to mount/balance them...not bad :) :D

Tire Rack has an exclusive on Kumho Race tires. I don't know about other regular tires though. Discount tire will order them for you from Rack and you won't have to pay shipping, only tax, mount and balance. :seeya

Yeah, I wasnt impressed much with TireRack's website. Its kinda crappy. They dont even have decent descriptions when you order something...for example...I was going to order some Front tires.. 1 is a front left, the other a front right. When I clicked on it to order, both tires had the exact same description... I was like wtf? could'nt they add that? I wasnt sure what I just ordered from their description. I went to Discount tire, was very pleased, and they have good customer service also. :yesnod:
