Default How to clear light

So like a dummy I didn't get a carfax before buying. Lucky for me there was only minor front end damage nothing serious. However the "INFL REST" light stays on. Shop said it could cost big money to replace. Is there any way to disconnect that light so I don't have to stare it all the time.

Black tape will do it until you get around to checking the problem code(s) & repairing the problems. I also get a seat belt light when the air bag is inoperative.

Lots of info on the forum about air bag issues.

One of the most common problems with the SRS light on '90's is a bad ground on the sensors. There are two that sit on the top of the frame rail and it's common for rust to form in this area. It's not hard at all to get to them and clean off the rust.

Another problem with the light is the resetting process.

Here's an old link to fixing some '90 SRS stiff:
