Default Console wrap of a different color

Decided to wrap the console, pretty beat up. After checking out 2 million vids and posts I got some Dinoc carbon fiber, but then saw a new 3M color..black brushed metal, so I got some of that too. This took ALL day and some of last night. Getting the Dulso off sux but as soon as I tried nail polish remover (no acetone) it came off pretty easy. I sanded it down smooth and washed it all with denatured alcohol. Some things I learned: you need a good heat gun, mine has a stand, can't see a way to do it with just a hair dryer. This takes a long time, about 10 hours total for the console and radio bezel, but I did a little extra as the pics will show. I have no idea how well this will hold up. The Dinoc is much thicker than the brushed scotch print, so it is easier to work with. Some pics:

what Dulso looks like as it dies...

Starting the wrap

This wasn't as hard as the console, took half the time

figured I would use some of the Dinoc, came out ok, a little different..

Also under the door..

kinda like it..

finished with a new shifter boot, also got a new ****..

Looks good and sure would like to see that in person. I've been thinking about redoing mine but still looking at info like this.

That black brushed metal looks very cool. I too have been looking into this for some time. Thanks for the inspiration.

Awesome job man! That door piece is very well done! Murder must be an understatement for that piece.

So where'd you buy the brushed wrap? I think it'll look nice on my '88 console.

Now this is getting insane..decided to give the jeep some sprucing..2 days on this and still not done!..

This side piece just took 3 hours, tried to do it all in one piece, impossible..learning a lot about this..now I know why they charge so much.
