Vehicle Description 1986 Chevy Corvette Race Car Car prepped for SCCA and NASA Race Series - Runs in ITE(Improved Touring E), TCC(Touring Challenge for Corvettes) and VCC(Vette-Viper Challenge). Car was fully sorted for last season but was not raced. Car has: 350 LT1 Engine, Six Speed Transmission, New Hubs and Bearings, New Optispark and Wires, 2 Cobra Racing Seats, New Water Pump, New Serpentine Belt, Set of Used Race Tires.

Safety Car
Anybody see a large hole in this story?? Or some major work done to an '86 to make it into a late model LT1 car? Change engine and everything under the hood, change body panels, gills and nose, belt line. Or maybe a wrecked 86 race car title and a late model car with new serial numbers?

More might be nice. But it obviously was done well seeing how this guy had a cage fitted and everything. The cage is a harder fit than the engine.. plus it has raced consistently.
Either way it should be in the for sale section not general discussion.
