Read about it here: Elderly Woman Crashes C4 Into Bread Shop

I'm not sure how people forget which pedal means go, and which one means stop, but hey accidents happen. All-in-all I guess there are worse things than an engine bay full of sourdough and pumpernickel.

This is the kind of thing that leads to terrible punditry: "How was your day, dear?"
"Not bad. I thought I was on a roll but ended up just loafing."

What, there's no C4s with garishly ugly body kits to post about today?

I was up in Prescott (Az) yesterday, and an old man(70's+), was parking in a spot by the courthouse. All of a sudden the Blazer roars forward and lands on a 2' wall. The car high centered and stoped, fortunately, because there was a crafts fair on the courthouse lawn with lots of visitors. He was walking around talking to the cops, but never said what happened. After they had a couple of tow trucks pull the car back into the parking space, the old man walked away. If it wasn't for that wall, it woulld have made the national news.

Perhaps she was just trying to rise to the occassion.

At least we now know what her favorite flower is.

I like how she tried to down-play it when she was interviewed by the local news station...
"I was trying to park 'slowly,' I must have been pushing the gas pedal instead of the brake. I don’t know, all of a sudden I see my car 'getting' in the store.”
She saw her car "getting in the store?"
She crashed through that store front...bricks and everything.

I saw this story on the local news last week. I didn't think it was even worth posting here.

Oh, the puns, the puns!

But on another note, gotta watch who you're calling "old" as I'd bet she's about the same age as many of the forum members here.
