Default Hey I went to a car show. It was hot-Pic heavy

I went to a Vette only car show in LeClaire and snapped some pics with my camera phone. There was a lot of sun so all of the yellow cars showed up as a yellowish green. The c4's were very well represented, they had to send some to overflow parking. I think I heard about 275 vettes total.

The white balance setting in your camera is off. Set it up for automatic

Sometimes personalized plates are taken on every way to spell "67" I bet the last choice he had was that one. Maybe he likes TTs.

I tried Ghost in California and trust me, every way for it to be spelled was taken. All numbers and any order.

I like them all except the yellow and purple/blue C5 pace car. What was GM thinking with the color and graphics design on that one? Yellow wheels?............

I've always thought that. Probably the ONE Corvette, that if given, I could not leave bone stock, in factory condition.

Sad thing is, I like the basic color. Replace the yellow wheels with chrome and color the interior black, and I'd love it.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing and thanks for participating in the show. We had 280 Corvettes and a great time despite the heat. Sign on LeClaire bank said 108 for the temp.

The car is a 383 stroker. Owner is a friend and has had it for many years. It does a grest job keeping up with all the C5 & C6s on our back road driveouts but definitely uses more gas. LOL
