Default Targa not sitting flush

The center of the front of the targa top isn't sitting flush with the weather stripping. I can push down the center and it'll drop about a quarter inch. Is there something I can do about that? I replaced the windshield weatherstripping thinking it would help (bought a kit and hadn't need to install that portion yet), but it's still doing it. Any ideas or adjustments I can make?

It sounds like your top may be delaminating. Have you taken the top totally off the car? If so did you notice any gap between the outer skin and the metal frame?

If you remove the interior trim near the mounting bolts, there are adjustments that locate the top.

Yeah, upon further review, it's not just in the middle...and of course it poured today. It's certainly leaking along the front of the targa. Found some good instructions on adjusting the front mounts....

Well, not only did the targa need a slight adjustment, but the top was delaminating. Got some nice adhesive for it and she's good and snug now. Still one minor leak on the passenger side window, but I don't have carpet so I could careless. I didn't have a small pond in the footwells after last night's soaker, so I'm happy. Will find out how good the adhesive is at this weekend's autocross!

Did you happen to save the link for the instructions you found?
