Default Tuning Help

I have a 90 coupe, having serious fuel delivery issues. Car will start okay and drive okay with light acceleration. But with heavier than normal acceleration the engine goes flat as if it ran out of gas. I replaced the fuel filter and pump with no change. Condition is getting worse. Fuel press is 39 psi when started and idling down road. as soon as I accel it the motor went flat as if being flooded and fuel press up to 42 psi., no throttle response at all. After limping home, at idle, fuel press up to 45 psi. Acts and sounds like its flooded. Is that whats happening? Fuel press to high? MAF or sensor bad? Cats plugged? When I got the car 3 months ago it ran fine! I don't know much about fuel injection systems. I like to do the work myself, instead of taking to a professional. Any suggestions will by appreciated. Thanks
