Default Service Parts Identification Label

Where can I get a copy of the Service Parts Identification Label for my car? Someone replaced the glove box lid on my car.

Go to www.compnine.com and enter your VIN. It'll tell you what's on your car, but you should cut/paste or print it out...otherwise they want you to pay for it.

You could get the build sheet from NCM and then duplicate it for yourself, how unusual is the car? Find an '88 with similar or like options take a snapshot and create your own. If you're just interested in options and are familiar with your car you should be able to create one quite easily. Is your car pretty much original? If yes it should be quite easy to accomplish yourself.

I don't believe it will happen for an '88MY car!

It seems to vary with year/make/model...son-in-law's '85 Vette VIN was in it (pre-subscription days) but bro-in-laws' '86 Monte Carlo SS was not.

I would have to doubt that his '85MY car was there. That information from a GM dealer in a GM inquiry wasn't available until '90MY. That's the data base that it appeared Compnine was using when they were "wide-open"!

Did you happen to save the '85MY information?

I don't have it, I'll check with SIL. I believe he saved it and printed it out.
