84-85 steering column
is the 1984and 1985 steering column the same? Can I put a 1984 column or use parts from the 84 into my 1985 Vet? I would like any help with this question that I can get. Thank you

They are the same up to 89 with the exception of the vats key and the wheel rim size. 84 and 85 are identical, up to 89 will work with no modification (you don't use the vats). The intermediate shaft between the column and the steering rack will fit up to 96, and of course down in case your 84 one is bad (common).
