Where would I purchase wiper blades for my stock 1987 Corvette? Tried Walmart no designated fit and want like original.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I replaced the wiper blades with AC Delco all season blades. And like the ones from the previous owner, lord are they noisy. Wiper performance is fine though.

I am wondering if upgrading the arm design to the 1995-1996 spec will cure the noisy wiper issue as the design of these wiper arms looks more sturdy.

Has anyone here had success with a wiper refill that is quiet on 1984-1990 models?

These. The Exact fit blade will clear the hood where most other replacement blades will not.

I've never had a noise issue with the wipers on either of my C4's. Can you tell if the noise is from the motor and/or gears or the linkage? Most wiper motors have nylon gears for reduced noise, but if the grease dries out, there will be noise. Same with the bushings in the arms and posts.

Some wiper blades are pretty hard and that can cause noise, especially if there is very little water on the windshield.

The 95-96 arms have a slightly different offset to lower the arm height and that was a popular upgrade (there may still be a Tech Tip on this; look in the Tech Tip sticky at the top of the C4 Tech section) as some years ago, it was very hard to find replacement blades that didn't hit the hood.
