depends on the year of C4 and looking at your avatar I'll guess 84, not with out adapters

mine is a 1984 if you put them on without adapters what would happen also were can you get adapters thanks

they sit bout an inch inside the fenders or more depending on which C5's and you get them on fleabay, if you get C5 ZO6, you only need a 3/4" hub centric adapter on the rear.

they don't look right sitting inside the wheel well , you won't like it at all

HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT THE ADAPTERS LOOK LIKE IT MAY HAVE THEM the car has the c5 rims on now but i want to make sure thanks for your help

take the rims off, take a picture where they were bolted to the car , post it here only need on front and one rear, actually, just take a pic of the car

The Z06 may need an adapter on the front also.

84-87 base
8.5"x16" 32mm offset

84R-87 Z51
9.5"x16" 38mm offset

88-96 base
8.5"x17" 56mm offset
9.5"x17" 56mm offset

C5 base
8.5"x17" 56mm offset
9.5"x18 65mm offset

C5 Z06
9.5"x17" 54mm offset
10.5"x18 58mm offset

Compared to the early C4 16" offset, the 17" Z06 wheels will be different by 54mm-38mm=16mm or 0.63" different. So a small adapter like a 1/2" or 3/4" adapter would position them quite close to how the early Z51 wheels were positioned.

these are C6 ZO6 aftermarket rims in C5 Z06 sizes, on my 87 track car, I had to add the rear hubcentric adapter, to the rear for them to clear the dogbone mounts, that pushed them slightly outside the wheel well which I fixed with flares. the front fit right at the edge of the wheel well, no issues with turning or rubbing, but I also installed a wider tire on both ends to take up any miss match. hope this helps

Check your rim and tire size also as the C5s came with 17" front and 18" rear from the factory.
I have the stock size 17/18s on my 91 with no adaptors and they fit and look great. For those of you with the 84 thru 87 C4s you will have to check the backspacing and purchase the appropriate sized adaptors.
