Default erasing ECM codes

I can't remember how to reset my ECM, and clear the codes. Any help would be appreciated. I have an 87.

The easiest way that I know of is to disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 seconds. If you can get an OBDI code reader they can erase DTC's as well.

Or, if you have fixed the issue, just keep driving and it will turn off. After x amount of system check cycles (starts) and the problem is fixed, the light will turn off.

that taking the neg cable is the easiest.. I wouldn't screw with any fuses..You will however have to reset the clock and radio channels.....WW

that's why you remove the fuse rather than disconnect the battery
