I plan on putting a new stereo with bluetooth and USB in my 1987. I called the stereo shop and they say I could only use a single din.

I'd rather put a double din in. Has anyone here put a double din in their early C4?

Thanks, I knew it was a 1.5 but was wondering if anyone managed to get a double in. Guess not so I will go with a good single. It will be nice to have USB and Bluetooth!

there is a replacement panel to allow for a double din, but it is crazy expensive for a piece of plastic

I think you can send them your panel and have it updated to a 2din for much less $$$$
