89 C4, left headlight will open using the headlight switch but will not close when turning lights off. Any suggested ideas?

Mine also did that so I took it apart checked and cleaned it up. It now closes but won't open up.

that happened to my passenger light and I finally decided to do the rebuild. It is really easy and you can get the bushing (at least for late C4`s you can) @ the cautionary store. Same size as a Ford window motor bushing. Until then, I would turn off the the lights and then run around the car and assist it shut. lol.
