Interesting factory sticker on dash
A local used car dealer has a really nice 1992 Black Rose for sale. It even has the original factory sticker about the analog gauges on the dash. I have seen this sticker on one other C4, a 1994 with 24000 miles on it. It clearly states they are not linear. This indicates they are not to be used to get an actual reading but are only there so the driver can see if anything is changing.
To get actual readings it is necessary to use the digital readings.

I used to to PDIs for a stealership. One particular shipment came in with stickers on the rear view mirror. it said "do not remove with sharp object" and nothing else.
So "what is the point of the sticker "I thought. Then promptly removed them with my razor blade.

Corvette gauges have always been a guess, no gauge should be taken serious it's just an estimate of what you have in the tank or what is going on with your engine.
I think most gauges are the same, but at least they are better than idiot lights and the digital units in the early c4's.
My 88 drove me crazy with all the movement catching my eye while driving.
