Squeaking From Suspension/ Tune Up
Hey everyone,
Since it's been really nice out lately it's time for my 'vette to get out quite a bit more. It's a '96 LT1 Auto car with right at 92,000 miles.
Should I run a 10W-30 since I'll be only driving it in warmer weather?
I've also got a few squeaks coming from my suspension somewhere that I can hear when I go over bumps or dips in the road. I fixed some of them when I had the exhaust hangers redone, but not all of them. In my owner's manual it says to lubricate the suspension, underbody contact points, and linkage, but I can't find info on how to do so or what to use to lubricate them with (some of the pages of my manual are missing). Also, what products should I use to lubricate them with?
Could the need for lubrication be causing my squeaks? I've had squeaks coming from sway bar bushings before, is this a problem with the 'vettes?
Thanks for your help!
