Front fender well suspension covers
I don't know if this has been covered but this is what we did to keep water out of the engine bay and get rid of the eye sore in the fender well area. We did see the kit in Ecklers but that didn't quite look like what we wanted. Here is a before and after =)
After
The top isn't quite flush with the stripping for the hood but it isn't too bad to warrant a redesign until we see where the wear patterns are going to accumulate. We still have the template if anyone wants a pic of it ^-^

I purchased a set of covers from Mid years ago.
The pattern is a bit different than yours but just as functional.

They were cleaned up and shined to a certain extent. Driving during any type of weather will cause dust and water to make it look that way. The main eyesore isn't that there is dirt on it, it is because GM decided to put liners on the front and back but leave an exposed suspension. To me that is the eyesore. Plus, as a DD, this car is going to be driven in rain, shine, and light snow so constantly polishing it up after each drive would get extremely tiring. Hope this clarifies a little bit (^-^)

I don't understand the criticism of a guy who is just trying to be helpful. As a new Corvette owner, who plans to drive his car, & not worship it, I say thank you to the op.
