Just got # 1157, 35th Anniversary Edition
Sold BEAST2, ZR-1 because of my age and health problems
First time in 40 years of married life we were Vette less. My Wife owned # 1904 until I retired and we moved from Ca to Washington and I sold her 35th; She was not happy We owned 4 Vettes at that time and some had to go
Anyone know where # 1904 is today?
#1157 was purchased from a guy in the Seattle area. He owned it for just over 4 years but didn't have any docs showing previous owner. Officially it's my wife's vette which is OK with me. It only goes 85 MPH
Again any one know anything about history of #1157?

Neither is mentioned in the 35th registry on google search. It appears this registry is now closed permanently.

Hey Nicpete, thanks for the compliment, is that your 40th in the profile pic? I'm from Selden. Do you go to any of the local car shows or cruise nights?

The 35th in my avatar is #65; it was hit and totalled in 2012. It was purchased in 2000 with 90k miles on the clock and "retired" with >200k. It was internally modded to provide ~300chp and raced frequently at Englishtown.
My current 35th is #651. It had 50k miles on the clock and needed some TLC, which is still a work in progress. It has been lightly modded internally with an estimated 260-270chp but likely will not see any race time.
Thanks for ref to that registry site; both of my 35th are now up there.

Mine is number #296 of 2,050 made
*One of 200 made with the 4+3 transmission.
*50,450 miles
I am needing to sell the car. Here are the specifics:
The car has both tops, the original paint, (both body and wheels), and the original leather. I have several under skin modifications with all the original parts packed away including the original chip. They are:
* LPE Signature Series Headers
* Borla SS Rear Y Pipe
* Borla Mufflers
* Borla Round Tips
* Accel Super Coil
* Accel High Perf. Cap & Rotor
* Accel 8.8mm Ignition Wires
* Hypertech E-Prompt
* Centerforce Clutch
* Steel Braided Brake Lines
* Nylon Nose Bra
* Car Cover
* Battery Tender
Both headlamp motors have been rebuilt using the brass gears. Brakes were done last year and a new set of Sumitomo tires installed. Also replaced the battery this summer. The car is stored and only used for shows and an occasional weekend drive. Car has documentation including records of all work that has been done. Asking $15,500 for this classic or best reasonable offer.

My '88 Anniversary
VIN 1G1YY218XJ5117576 - # 1756
Less than 60,00 but putting on a lot more miles here in FL than I ever did in MN. Pretty much all original but I need to find a really good leather seat person here on the Gulf Coast.

That's a great deal for a 4+3 35th...I would consider it if I didn't have one already!! Can't believe you couldn't get a buyer for it sooner. I know you're in Fl....may want to hold off till the spring and get more $$$ for it.

35th badges need your attention!
I've been meaning to post this. You guys really need to take a close look at your badges. One day I was sitting at a red light brushing my finger across the console plaque and the bowtie part spun off.
Another time I had the hood up and noticed the same thing had happened to the fender badges. Gone forever!
It's easy to see how this can happen. Getting two pieces of chromed metal to bond to each other for 26 years is a challenge. I'm going to talk to a sales engineer at LocTite next week for some advice.
Mine are black. I assume they were swapped when the recall was done. After seeing some 35th for sale with dingy white belts I'm satisfied with black.
