Bumper wall art project
Just finished my C4 bumper wall art project.
Bought a blue rear fascia for $20, brake lights for ~$40 (thanks Sleazy Rider!), along with paint and lighting supplies for ~$20.
Before paint:
After paint:
Final product:
For $80 and a few hours of drilling, sanding, painting stuff, and using my brain, I'm really happy and I have the coolest night light around.

That's really cool! You should put a row of LED's across the bottom that are switched separate from the tail lights and use them as a reading light. Lol
But, seriously, very creative. That's about as green as a person can get... Re-purposing junk car parts to become something new. ...And you didn't have to buy a Prius to prove it!

Thanks! I found the fascia on Craigslist so I would recommend looking there in the auto parts section. I got a really good deal on mine for only $20, would have been $30 with all the lights but he had sold them by the time I got there. I've seen a few that look like utter crap for around ~100 bucks; crazy!!
You can check around this forum too, I'm sure there is someone with everything you need. I even bought the brake lights off a guy from this forum.
Good luck!
I was thinking about white accent lighting around it, but that might be a bit too much light. A reading light and a light to help me see my keyboard at night would be a good idea though, you can expect that to be done soon! Thanks!
