Default My friends are awesome..:)

I just had to share this.... I called a friend and he answered.. "Hang on I'm racing". I hear engines screaming and tires roasting. Then "OK, I won call ya later" Click.

He was driving an LS powered 3rd gen(maroon Iroc). I'm pretty sure he was at the Texas World Speedway.

Oh I am sure he was......... since street racing is illegal

There are times to answer your cell and that may have been a time I would have let your call go to voice mail....

that's coordination; especially if driving a manual!

I think he just wanted to show off.. he started his swap after mine and here he is at the track already. He lives like 10 miles from the TWS. Lucky guy or good planning

Nice, you LSX swappers are amazing.....after all of the shots I have seen here with modifications, it is not for the faint of heart, that's for sure.......but worth it for sure......power, weight reduction, available tuning......can't go wrong if you get it done in a sanitary way.......like you have

Personally I think that will increase the values of these cars too......who would not want an LS powered anything.........trouble is you could swap in an LS3 into a Pinto and get more for it than a LS powered C4...........or a 24 window VW van...........

I certainly don't like Pintos or think they are cool, didn't like them when I was kid when they were new, and they are definitely worse now.......but the collector car hobby seems to embrace 24 window VW buses as I saw on Mecum Auto Auction a while back fetching 6 figures......a little better than the C4 market........

I would assume if that is the case, perhaps these same knuckle heads would love a cherry restored Pinto and perhaps pay a small fortune for one.....
