You're going to have to be a little more specific about what won't unhook. The windshield, or the back?

Found the problem , it was stuck to the weatherstriping on the windshield. IT was stuck so tight that mywindshiield was moving when I tried to separate it , it actually ripped some of the weatherstripping.
