Air cond havc issue

I'm assuming you have the electronic A/C?
This is a common issue on 96 Corvettes, so I'm not sure if this will be the same on the 93 or not. It is most likely an issue with the hvac programmer unit. Read this thread for some ideas on how to address the issue.

concur, while I dont think you have the collapsing nipples like the 96 AC programmer has you might have an issue with your AC controller.

Might be the vacuum check valve. You need vacuum in the cabin to operate the various HVAC valves in the system.
Does your cruise control work? It uses the same vacuum source.

I will be working on this tomorrow. I took off the right fuel rail cover and at the back of the cover looks like a check valve but it looks metal. Is this the correct thing I'm looking at?

Don't know how I missed that. Okay I took the valve off. It seems like the valve does hold suction but I'm going to replace anyway. Now the two lines from the left side that exits. The angled line ( bottom ) line holds suction. The straight line does not. Is that my problem? And if so how the hell do you find where it runs to?

My 91 Vettes cruise control vacuum line directly above the battery, had a hole in it which caused the cruise control to not operate. I replaced the vacuum line and it worked perfectly again!...

Follow the vacuum lines. it should become pretty obvious.
On my car the vacuum line for the HVAC goes through the firewall in the wiring harness bulkhead feedthrough behind the passenger side head. It's probably in the same place on your car.
