Default Value of a 1991 ZR1?

I know this question could be all over the place on different opinions. What is a 1991 ZR1 with 50K original miles worth in excellent condition? I don't have much more info on the car right not the seller is working on getting me some pictures, When it comes to C4's I have a hard time coming up with a value. The prices people are asking on ebay seem across the board. The person selling the car is asking 15K.

Thanks for the help,

Eric

Even with the lack of demand across the specialty car market, that seems to be a very good price. Of course, excellent is very subjective....

Eric,

Try asking on this forum.

Lots of ZR-1 knowledge over there. Also 15K for 50K seems like a good deal assuming all the maintenance is done and the car is in good shape. Have the injectors been changed? Fuel pumps? Gaskets? The Z's are great cars keep us posted

I agree Excellent is very subjective. I figured asking for excellent condition would give me a base for making my judgment once I see the car or get pictures.

15k sounds good, youll want to look at the car though. Too many "mint" cars out there that arent or have a running problem.

I'm just over the boarder from IN, about even with Crown Point, IN. If it isn't too far away, I or one of our NetRegistry club guys could check it out for you, and we may even know a little about the seller AND the car.

The price is on the lesser side of a 91 with those miles, but condition runs the gamut on 22 year old Vettes, including ZR-1s. All depends on the TLC (or lack thereof) it has had.

Lemmeno!

On paper with no pics, or issues it's solid.

A dealer friend of mine has taken the car in trade and I have not been able to go and check it out. Just though I would do some homework before considering it. I am not in the market for a C4 but will always by anything if its a steal. From what I am gathering if the car is in great condition at 15K its probably a good price but not a steal.

I think Jay is referring to the one I looked at in AZ, although it was even lower miles. They were asking $17,900 and offering $10k on my trade. At the end of the day, they were willing to do $5k over trade, so about $15k.

What I found is that there are a number of lower mileage (20-50K) ZR1s out there that have been completely neglected and the price reflects this.

It might be a good deal, but I'd be weary, as it seems about $5k lower than market.

What do you guys make of this one? It's been for sale for at least 6 weeks for that price.
