On page 42 in the new corvette central they a have a replacement dash for the 84-89's, it lights up blue and is about the coolest thing i've seen in a while.

I couldnt find it either and was looking for it last night....whats funny is about a year or so ago,I emailed the digital dash companies asking them if they made a replacement for the vettes and they said no,but I do rem.dakota and the others told me they coud custom make me one for about 750 bucks if I sent them my dash unit as a base core to work with.I decided not to then.

Maybe since then,theyve caught on theres a possible market for better dashes then the junky GM units.
Even the rebuilt GM dashes,only fixes whats wrong and its a matter of days before the next part fails.

If this new dash is good,maybe a group purchase when the time comes woud lower the prices somewhat.Ill find the money somehow...my dash now has a crack in the les and some numbers are out in it...AGAIN.

Thanks for the heads up! It looks really cool, it's more than just a color change, they've changed the spedo and such.

$849 for the conversion kit though?? "Conversion requires removal of instrument cluster" Ouch!

I saw it, and it looks incredible. It's the blue that catches the eye. I like the bar graphs that they used

the one i saw looked like a bunch of blue alarm clocks randomly placed aroundin the dash.. it was awful.

I hate it. Call me crazy, but I think that the early C4 Digital Dash is awsome. There is no other dash like it. Everyone who gets into the car for the first time is amazed. They always ask...do you know what all that stuff means?
That aftermarket dash reminds me of the old JC Whitney days. I got a digital Cyberdyne dash for my 82 Trans Am out of there. At least that had 2 colors.

I was ... 13 when the 84 came out. I remember thinking that digi-dash was so futuristic looking. I recently let a couple kids of my neighbors sit in the car for a few miniutes with the dash all lit up. They kept pointing at it and asking what does that mean... They were completely amazed. Hopefully somebody will come out with a cool design. I can't believe it is that hard or complicated, it is 18 year old technology.
