It has been some time since I drove the vette. It looks like I finally got my trans issues worked out. I washed #5 took it for a ride and chirped 2nd a few times.

Yeah, even with "only" a "500" package in mine, I'd crash into the (7100 rpm) limiter quite often. I'd hammer it and she'd pull like a freight train all the way up the tach. I'd be waiting for it to nose over - the usual sign it was time to shift - and bap-a-dap-dap, up against the limiter. Obviously, it needed to be a bit higher! Mine is now at 7600, AND adding a shift light did the trick. (I set my shift light at 7100, but in first I'm lucky to get it done before I hit 7250 ish.)
But, I digress

I hear you. A little better down here but the roads are covered with mud, stones, and worse yet potholes. Even though it's been warm the last couple of days we're still dealing with a dirty mess. It's going to be a while before the Corvettes can come out and play.

I washed my 94 convert today, wiped it down with Detail Stuff and went for a drive up the canyon....52 is still a little cold to drop the top at 5000 plus feet.....Lakes we past are still frozen with people out fishing. .
