Cool I'm in the middle of bolting on my Melrose LS swap headers. I just dropped them off to have bungs and v-bands tigg welded on. What combo are you running?

Default Today's goal was new headlight bushings.

Installed new bushings in the headlight motors for my '92 coupe today.
Wasn't too bad of a job and the various videos on Youtube really helped.
Now I can drive my car after dark!

I have a rebuilt 5.3L with forged Eagle rods, flat top pistions, 862 heads, Comp Cams 54-408-11 (XR259HR), LS1 intake, and a set of Melrose LS swap header due Thursday (according to FedEx). It has a ZF6 with a Quicktime RM-6039, and LS7 clutch kit.

I might want to get different cylinder heads, but I am not sure yet.

Back in late July I backed into my own door, yup I felt pretty stupid. Door worked fine just had no window so I continued to use it until time allowed me to fix or change it. We started around 10 this morning trying to bend the center support beam back out which only needed about a quarter of an inch. We got it pretty close but after trying to adjust the window a half a million times we decided it was beyond hope so we stripped the old door down and put on one that I bought. Still needs some tweaking and to put the panel back on etc, but damn I never expected 6 or 7 hours. Thats not me in the car, the shop owners son who was the only one that could contort his hand up inside to put the door handle and lock clips on.

Sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time with it Frank. Hope you get it back together soon.

Not today but about three weeks ago new top on the vert. Did it myself and was not that hard to do, beat the heck out of paying the labor charges around here. Lowest just for labor $800.00 up to $1200.00 with no guarantee.
