Finished out the motor install, drove it a few miles, got it home, and it spun another bearing. I am literally shaking with rage. Only thing that went bad was that one oil pump drive gear mishap, must have been enough to trash the internals. I am just completely ****ing done with this car. Cutting my losses and selling it.

Replaced the radiator tee to throttle body bypass hose. Had a small amount of seepage, want to protect that optispark. Can't really see it very well, but it's there.

Sorry to hear about the problems. Sucks when things pile up on you like that.

I had to take off my starter and replace the connection from the battery to the starter. A female connection 10-12 gauge. This failure resulted from the 112 lobe. At red lights the lobe creates vibration. An oil change I discovered 3 bolts and nuts on one collector had rattled off. The noise was there but very slight and I put off getting underneath to inspect. I went Ace Hardware and bought bolts and some nuts that won't back off. I believe they have plastic inside the threads. I now get underneath the car every month and inspect the collector nuts and bolts just to make sure.

Last weekend I had the car dyno tuned to have a max output of 425 RWHP with 10 lbs of boost and 468 RWFTLBS of Torque on a Mustang dyno

Concluded the Water Pump Chronicles. Ok, so thats an upsell. But hey, my first job on a C4 and I managed to replace the WP and t-stat without soaking the well running opti and everythings looking good after a test run. Excited to get her back on the road.

Any waterpump change without playing uboat commander with the opti is a win

Haha, I hear that. There were a few close call scares, but thankfully I was prepared and the opti was safe, even with my clumsiness.

If there was a youtube video of when I removed the t-stat housing bleeder screw, it might get a few views. There may have been expletives as I clumsily fumbled to get it screwed back in. No harm, no foul though. Shop rags were in place already.

Hey guys, my 93's auto trans rebuild should be done this Friday. Do I have to drive it a certain number of miles before I go WOT?

There isn't really a "break in" for auto transmissions. So whenever you want I guess.

Max, how'd that confrontation turn out? I'd be pissed.

Adjusted my TV cable on my '84 so the damn thing would finally shift right. Feels a whole lot better now!

Also learned that my mystery aluminum heads are Edelbrock Performer Centerbolts.
