What did you do to your C4 today?

Beater C4 Project: Pulling the guts out of my '84 700R4
I removed the planetary gear trains from the tranny, got that sick feeling that I'm in over my head, but inspected everything, found a worn reaction shaft/sun gear bushing combination, and managed to get everything back together again.
Planetaries all looked pretty good.
Time to order parts...
Regards,
Ken

recent upgrades
just installed new wheels! Some other updates i've done this summer as well. Installed a new stereo with speakers to replace bose system, wrapped some interior peices in 3m vinyl carbon fiber wrap, installed new sun visors on both sides, recovered the seats myself and changed out the rear view mirror lights with blue led bulbs.

Burning Brakes
I bought a set of spark plugs, an MSD cap and rotor set, a set of Magnecor race wires, and haven't put them in yet. No ignition problems ATM, but I can't remember the last time I changed plugs in this car, so it's time for some candy for the engine.

Burning Brakes
1993, that thing was toast a couple years ago! Did you have top end fuel starvation issues?

Burning Brakes
The floor mats I bought from MAM or CC or somewhere, about 13 years ago, started to wear a little. And that damned brake pedal has come off for the last time!
Here's before:
Contact cement is your friend, here.
Carefully applying to both sides and letting dry for about 20 minutes.
Put a towel on the floor in case cement drips off the brake pedal. I put the rubber on right after the glue, as I didn't want to have to fight the glue while sliding the pedal pad around on the pedal.

Drifting
I recently put new (white) LED lights in the interior. I only changed the lights that are used when you swing the outer ring up. (around headlight switch). Same lights that come on when a door or hatch is opened. In hind sight... this should have been one of the first things I did. If I ever have another C4 it'll definately be high on my list of priorities. I must say its well worth the cost and trouble of putting them in!
Driving down the road at night and all but one of the interior lights are still OEM and keep the original theme / look that GM intended. Which IMO is important.
The one ambient light I did change was the small one that shines straight down towards the shifter. In that case the light shines through a lens in the bottom of the mirror. It's color 1/2 changes it to the stock yellow-ish. But its a little whiter. Can only be seen when you hover your hand over the shifter area. No one would ever notice the difference if you didn't tell them.
So then, all the other lights that are intended for adding visibility when you turn on the interior lights (or open a door / hatch) are now a much brighter white. I must say... when I open the door it reminds me very much of a modern high end luxury car.
Here is a list of the ones I changed:
- Front foot wells (were not easy to change but have outstanding results)
- Door lights
- B pillar lights
- Map lights (excellet results)
- Small illumination bulb for center console.
I'll add a pic when I can.
