If I had the time, I would head over to the garage, connect the battery and take her out.
But no, I have to go to the Super Bowl party.

I took the ring off until I can order a new emblem. I just couldn't stand the look of a broken ring.

I like the look without the ring. That's what I did to mine.

I took the digital dash out of my '88 to clean the contacts and solder some potentially bad contacts to see if that would take care of my lighting and speedo issues. Put it back in enough to check out and the four 882 bulbs are working good, almost too bright. But the turn signal indicator lights are still not working so I plan to look at the wiring diagram some more and see if I can find the pin where I can check for to see if the signal is going to the dash. Also, still need to figure out the issue with the speedo.

I reset the TV cable on my car. What a difference! I've had my 93 for a year now. I noticed that at cruise speed, right where I was just maintaining speed on the gas pedal, that if I tried to increase speed slightly, my rpm would rise several hundred and then I'd feel the transmission 'lock' and rpm would fall. Shifts were also very soft. That is gone and my shifts are firmer.

I didn't know either so I googled it .....

Adjusting TV Cables - Tech Article

This one needed adjustment. At wide-open throttle, the TV cable should be guitar-string tight.

On older corvettes they have a cable that goes from the throttle body to the transmission.

This controls pressure in the valve body ect.

And i replaced mine with one thats very adjustable.

Prior i had noticed some of the same soft shifts, so i tightened it up a lil expecting i would need it with the hp upgrade.

Just took the car around the block for the first time since the upgrades hoping the iac's would reset... No such luck... But the car sounds awesome!

I put new polarizing film over the dash cluster while I had it out for new bulbs. Amazing the difference it made even though it didn't seem bad. My wife even commented on how good the numbers show up. Not a bad job using the online directions. Just need to read directions carefully and move slowly. .
