ATF and filter change question
Hello all
I was reviewing my owners manual for scheduled maintenance for my 94. I fall under schedule two - which allows for fluids to remain in the car longer.
My question is for ATF and fluid change. It states to change them at 100,000 miles. I have 70,200 on my odometer, fluid is clean does not smell burnt, anyone see a need to change before 100,000 miles ?
Thanks,
Bob

many mechanics will tell you to leave it alone or at least do no more then dropping the pan, changing the filter and adding that much oil and to skip the total flush. Supposidly when fluid gets old it varishes parts and new fluid has alot of detergent that breaks that down and what you end up with is leaking seals. My mechanic says to either change it every 50k or leave it alone.
