Thank you for the Info in regards to the oil drain plug. I assumed there was only one but wanted to verify that. If one was to leave the car over night draining out the old oil in the cooler and put in the new oil next day wouldn't that be better then leaving the old oil in ? Thanks again

I agree Paul, the risk using wrong oil can be costly.

There is little or no problem finding the proper oil at comparable costs. So, why not select the one with the ZDDP levels the motor was designed to use?
If you had one of these the question would be much easier to answer!

Yeah, whatever 10w30 is available every other year, is what goes in my L98. I only drive it about 100-200 miles/year.

On a side note related to the M1 vs other synthetics:
For 3 years, I was a fan of Mobil 1.
My '11 Ford Escape, which came from the factory with Motorcraft synth oil, has had M1 5w20 since 2012.
The engine suffered #6 piston and cylinder wall damage at 30K miles, and Ford replaced it with a remanufactured engine this part June.
Now, this is my first experience using M1 oil and filters (quite expensive filters too I'll add), but it's enough to make me switch.
(In over 40 years of oil changes, I've never had an engine expire in normal use like this Ford gets).
The SOs '15 Chrysler only recognizes Pennzoil as an approved oil (Mobil Syn doesn't have certification from FCI yet), so I'm switching to Pennzoil full synth for both the Ford and Chrysler.

My ZR-1 is a LT5 engine and requires high phos, and zinc because of flat lifters I use 10w30 ZRod Amsoil but a lot of C4 owners use 10W40 Amsoil. Thank you
