Default My C4 Exovette

First, let me say that I would never cut up a good C4 for this project. This car was completely trashed.

I had a Kellison J5 coupe body sitting around when a friend gave me a C4 frame that had the suspension attached. I thought it would be cool to fit the body to the C4. When I got to fitting the flip up hood I was concerned about possible clearance problems. I needed a complete C4 to fit the body to. I went to Craigs list and the first listing I saw was for an 84 for $1000. I offered him $700 and he took it. When I picked it up i was surprised to find that it was running and driving.

When I stripped the body off it occurred to me that it would be cool to drive it like that. Yesterday I started building the skeleton structure. The pics show progress so far. There's a lot of bracing that will be added.

I like driving lightweight roadsters. I think this will be a blast to drive. Having fun.
