After a simple green engine cleaning and a oil change the check gauge light comes on dim then gets brighter, any ideas what happened?

Took the car out for its usual Thursday night cruise and after about a 1/2 hour the light shut off and never came back on. Shut her down for a hour and started back no light drove through the city and highway and it never came back on. Gonna keep an eye on it.
