Default Who has wrapped their console?

I am thinking about doing this, instead or refinishing and painting. (radio console and shifter console)
Please post pics, and any tips for doing project.
Thanks

Would think running with hydrographics be an alternate approach...

I did my dash over the weekend. It's not as easy as it looks on YouTube, but not super difficult either. With the dash bezel I found that you cannot stretch the material far enough to cover the deep recesses of the speedo and tach openings. I used a razor blade and trimmed along the inside edge of those openings. Overall I am pleased. I used 3m scotchprint 1080.

JUSBAD- looks good, how difficult was it? What did you do to prep surface?

It wasn't too bad. To prep the surface I just used alcohol rubbing pads (the medical use type). It gets a little tricky around some of the corners and curves, best to use a hair dryer to help soften it when doing the curved section, just don't overheat it, the wrap gets warm quick. You only want to barely warm it so that it is more pliable for curves and corners.
I bought a roll of the 3M off of **bay. I believe you can even get different colors. I did mine in the spring of this year. It may not be a perfect job but I think it looks nice, especially compared to how much it costs to have the plates dipped or coated.

Oh and I got the shifter boot, shifter **** cover and console pad from redlinegoods. Very nice stuff!

I'll second that. I bought the padded armrest cover and am very happy with it. I got black with tan threading to match my saddle interior, looks perfect.
