Shawn, what type of Gorilla glue did you use? I know there are several types. And was did your friend's car have the slick plastic strip on the top where the glue would have to stick to work?

You didn't say if it was a Vette or not. My concern is that the plastic is so slick that it would really take some kind of stuff to grab it and hold.
