corsa exhaust lt4
Thinking about installing a corsa sport cat-back exhaust system on my stock Grand Sport. I would like to hear how it sounds with the stock lt4. If anyone has a video and or thoughts it would be much appreciated.

Share the video with us like PLRX did for us in the thread if you don't mind....would like to hear it so we can tell for ourselves.....picture/video is worth a thousand words; especially when it comes to exhaust tones.

I know this has been debated a thousand times but still wondering if I should go Corsa vs just muffler eliminators.
I guess I could just try getting rid of the muffs and if I don't like it then go Corsa. I really like the stock exhaust tips though. I could probably get a muffler shop to put my stock tips on the Corsa system?

It could be done, but who loves the looks of your car more than you do?
few weeks ago I went to a professional for GS stripes, and gave him all the measurements, dimensions etc.
Well the car looks great but, there are few detailed discrepancies.
The best thing is to let the muffler tips the way they are. Nobody will make it look "right" or original.

I try not to meet people from here. Had few bad experiences, and they ended up part of my SPAM folder. If I happen to run into you on a group run that's cool, and you can listen to it there. Sometimes I go to Cruzin' Grand, and to JBA Sunday Cars and Meet.

Sounds like post #2 Nice rumble, loud only when you do a WOT.

I've been to Cruisin Grand a few times in my hot rod but it's really too crowded for me.
Whats JBA?

You have a problem meeting folks in real time but you spend countless hours here? Sounds kinda shady and narcissistic if I may say so.

emails about his personal life. I'm not a shrink
Like I previously posted, let's limit a meet at an event. This is not a dating site, it's an internet forum. It's also great, I have met great people here, at events, and a week ago few gear heads from the bang shift met at Williams, AZ, and did a 2,000 mile trip.

I went from Eliminators to Corsa's soon after I got my 94 LT1, the Elim's were just noise, no class, just the same noise at differant levels as you accelarate, but the Corsa's have a beautiful sound, sounds like a real thoroughbred, real class that still turns heads when you want them to, best thing I've done with the car so far, having said that I know there are many folk for who Eliminators are ideal..each to their own I guess, but nothing could make me go back to the old set up!

I have been watching this thread too. I have had eliminators on a couple LT1 cars. At first I thought they were too loud, but I got used to them and really liked the sound. At idle they have a very deep rumble that I liked. You could make them loud or soft based on how much throttle.
I was considering what to do on my current '95 and was leaning towards eliminators again, but I ran across a like new used Corsa cat back and bought it. I don't even have it installed yet, but I hope I like the sound. I do like the looks of the Corsa tips.

Also for the people who were wondering what my Corsa exhaust sounds like, this is a video of it, not the best video, but it'll have to do. Skip to 35 seconds.
And people can no longer say that my car's not even running. For now at least, until I break something else. Haha!
