BOSE Capacitor Replacement Details
If you have amps that look like the one in the picture (from my '96) here is the parts lists for all the capacitors to be replaced.
Front Amp:
C7 10uF
C8 47uF
C16 1uF
C31 10uF
C172 10uF
C183 10uF
C203 22uF
Large caps on either side of inductors are the 820uF ones.
Rear Amp:
C7 10uF
C8 47uF
C16 1uF
C31 10uF
C150 1uF
C172 10uF
C180 10uF
C183 10uF
Large caps on either side of the inductors are the 820uF ones.
Qty 8: 493-3115ND 820uF, 16V
Qty 4: P15794CT-ND, 47uF, 50V
Qty 18: P15786CT-ND, 10uF, 16V
Qty 8: P15830CT-ND, 1uF, 50V
Qty 4: 493-10399-1-ND, 22uF, 25V
Parts numbers are for DigiKey and I highly recommend them; parts in stock, very reasonable shipping and FAST to ship as well.

Good information Lanny. But you might find the caps you get might be a taller capacitor. The original 820s are low profile capacitors and not very common. I have heard some people had to modify or cut the cover to get it back on. Usually I don’t ever tell anyone to replace those capacitors because they usually don’t go bad. Even if they lost couple hundred mfd they still work fine. Other amps have 750 mfd so I don’t think it's a real critical value. The most important capacitor for sound quality is C172.
