Default help with exhaust

Just traded for a 1990 c4 , looking to upgrade the exhaust to flowmaster cat back, always loved that flowmaster sound and have super 40,s on my 66 mustang fastback but not looking for something that aggressive on the corvette, looks like off the shelf cat cack systems from flowmaster come with a 60 series muffler, a little to mild for my taste , so looks like I,ll have to one made up. im thinking 50 series but im not sure what size pipes to go with, any help would be much appreciated

Yup, ch@0s is correct. Had the 40s on my previous C4, horrible drone. Targa top off, windows down, it sounded great

Default I'm confused...

Why is everyone talking about the 40's? He says he's leaning towards the 50 series. So why tell him the 40's have drone?

My car has A Flowmaster exhaust system on it, but I cant tell you exactly what one it is. The exhaust was installed before I got the car. I can say that it has really bad drone. I also removed the cats. At about 65MPH I cant talk to the passenger IF I have one, or hear the radio.

I wished someone would have told me. what if we didn't tell him then he went out and bought them because he likes them on his mustang?

BTW.. how is your post of any value?
