Let me try and re-phrase the question. How much ground clearance do these remove? If it is 4-3/4" with them what is it without them?
I like the look of these, but my car has ~4" of clearance atm.

jack location
I was concerned about a place to jack the car after installing the bars.
I think the seller said he uses the brackets as the jack location after the bars are installed.
Has anyone actually used the brackets as jack locations.

If you go to the other thread I mentioned, above, you'll see some pretty good pics of the bracket/frame relationship (link posted below, as well).
However, to answer your question more directly, you can either jack at the frame both fore and aft of the Bracket or, use the brackets, as you suggest, above. The brackets I received are both securely bolted to the frame. I see no problem using them as jacking points.

Safety Car
As many know my car is pretty low. I can't get over speed bumps but it's not the fault of these bars. If they didn't hit my floor and exhaust would hit and get torn off. On the road they've never touched anything and a water bottle won't roll on it's side under my car. If anything .. On the way to the track last year there was an area under construction and the front of the bracket at the bottom hit (very sharp drop in road height I couldn't really see coming out of a drive thru) so if anything .. These are a savior for extremely lowered cars
The bars are awesome. Period.
You can see them in several pics in a video I love to spam

All the pictures I see are angled to show the bars only.
If I am going to need to raise the car to install these, then with my car there are other things I need to get first.
The car shakes too much for me with the top off, so it will just have to stay on indefinitely.

What system is a better choice the xbrace or this no flex system?

Just normal thinking would point to the X brace being better. Then again I'm not a mechanical engineer.
Can X braces still be purchased?

I prefer the no flex system, mainly because if I want to drop the trans or exhaust, they are not in the way. In fact I still have the prototypes on my car for the no flex bars

1. They do not decrease ground clearance as they are tucked up and out of the way.
2. They do not need to be removed when R&Ring the exhaust or trans.
3. They TORSIONALLY connect the front and rear of the car. You effectively tighten the front and rear of the car together. Its not just a piece of metal that connects the front to the rear. You crank on those threaded rods to make the entire frame more torsionally ridgid.
