Holy Kamoly, everybody! We have some great info piling up here!
TopTech: Wow – Copper coupe 0266 – a new build sequence! Looks great!
Pitchout: Beautiful! Only gray interior Copper I know of. (I am unfamiliar with the hood decal – did NCM have your car?) I just realized that you've verified a July build date for the Copper color: 7/93 – I’m guessing that’s the date on your driver door label – yes?
So here’s what we've accomplished, grouped by VIN:
7/93
0152 (thanks Pitchout!)
8/93
0266 (thanks TopTech!)
0442, 0447, 0451
1364, 1366, 1370
2020, 2025, 2034 (Thanks to Alisha in OK for 2025!)
It looks like we are beyond three build days for the 1994 Copper! A big thanks to everyone!
The next step: knowing what we know about how Bowling Green painted cars in runs of five to ten colors at a time, can we surmise that the “in-betweener” VINs were Copper too? In other words, we have a run from 1364 to 1370: were all the VINs in that run Copper? Thoughts?

There used to be a couple from Ohio known as the “Copper Keeper’s”. From what I remember, they were keeping a database on the ’94 Coppers. Don’t know what became of their information.

GoGo87U, 0152 was the car that was in the Front window of the NCM at the Grand Opening. The first pic, as you can tell is at the museum setting on the turn table at the main entrance. This is one of six cars used to promote the opening of the museum on Sept 2nd 1994 and the only convertible of the six. This car was once in the Bob McDorman collection.

Copper recently sold on eBay...
May be a repost, fellas, but saw this on eBay--apparently sold not too long ago...and is one of only 38 of the 116 with a manual gearbox...Considering the rarity and it's overall good shape, looks like it was a Helluva buy...VIN 254.

Copper 1994
I have VIN# 0151 Grey interior 6 speed. GM owned the car for its first two years. The paint is good. 27,500 miles. It may be the only coupe with Grey interior?
Doug63: Nice! Original white top or beige? And thanks for the 0442!
B17: That's a great article with the Gordon Killebrew info. (I keep wondering if he's related to Harmon Killebrew the baseball legend - might be showing my age on that one!)
So, let’s look at our VIN info thus far:
I just saw online the two Coppers that Roger's Corvettes sold a while back. He calls the cars by a stock number, but it's the VIN. His two VINs were: 447 & 1364.
OK, so that means we have some grouping of VINs going on:
152
442, 447, 451
1364, 1366
2020, 2034
That looks like three build days PLUS one more build day (at least) because car 0152 can’t possibly be built on the same day as 442, 447, and 451. Can it?
Similar to the other days where we are starting to see grouping, there are likely other Copper cars built around that 0152 car. And why not, heck, it’s a brand new color for 1994!
If memory serves me correctly (um, what did I have for lunch?), car 0152 is a convertible with a gray interior. I’m searching my desk for that web article now. I think I printed it out. I’ll check in with you guys tomorrow…..
