For a 12k mile Grand Sport.. ya, he'd get $30k around here.

Since it's a GS, yeah 30k is at the upper range I think but definitely possible.

Those 1000 units will hold their value long after most production C4's have faded away.

Wouldn't normally do this but to help you out on value...

This past February I paid $26100 for a 21000 mile 1 owner bone stock Red gut Z51 in very good condition. I think I got a pretty good deal. My opinion if the (vin checks out and the car is in the condition a 12K mile car should be in) is that it is worth about $28000 give or take

The last GS that sold that I know the price for sure (besides mine) was a red gut 40K mile base suspension car in excellent condition. It sold for $23500

Yep your probably right.
In that case the price was good for the buyer.
However those cars should be maintaining a 30K price in good condition.

No..... but. ...

I have a C7 Z06 on order with no room in my garage. I have other storage options off site but I could be talked into selling it. I just clay bared and waxed it as well as pulled the wheels to detail the exposed suspension parts, calipers and wheel drums. Very nice car.

That car looks great and is probably worth $30,000 to the right person.

But, there's one on ebay right now with a buy-it-now price of $14,500. It's higher mileage at 90,000 but, still...

There was a 130k mile(I believe) GS for like 11,500.
