today is the day to replace the opti on my 93. followed this thread which was really well done.

got to the point to where I need to remove the crank shaft pulley and the crank is turning so I cant loosen the three bolts holding the pulley on. does anyone have a good method for holding the pulley/crank still so I can loosen the bolts.

Breaker bar with 5/8 socket on the center crank bolt does it for me.

What opti did you go with? I just did mine about a month ago it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be.

straight forward really. if you're a decent wrench turner it is no problem. I ordered one from SAC City. the price is right and hopefully it will last. I only got 4500 miles from a dynaspark.
