Ragtop/Hardtop Question-Info Please

1995 Conv.
Can the hardtop be installed with the soft top still on the car?
Or do you have to remove the soft top completely,to put the hard top on???
I need to transport a hard top....

The soft top remains down while the hard top is installed on the car Jay
